LDC Workshop #1

The Fargo City Commission unanimously adopted a new growth plan in 2024 that describes where and how the community wants to grow over the next two decades -- a period when it is expected to add another 30,000 residents.

To help implement the new growth plan, as well as other recent planning efforts, Fargo is now embarking on Fargo LDC 2026. This is a project that will substantially update Fargo's Land Development Code (LDC), which includes zoning districts, land use regulations, and development standards. It will be the first major update to the LDC since 1998.

The first public workshop for Fargo LDC 2026 was held on February 25th at Fargo Cass Public Health. If you were unable to attend the workshop, this survey is designed to capture your feedback on issues discussed at the meeting.
