2022 Syracuse Housing Study
Housing has been, and continues to be, a critical issue in Syracuse that has broad economic, quality of life, health, and fiscal impacts. To better understand these impacts and how best to move forward, a two-part effort was initiated in 2022 and will continue into 2024.
Part 1: The Syracuse Housing Study was produced in the spirit of compiling the foundational and actionable knowledge about housing in Syracuse to inform the future development of responsive and implementable housing strategies. Work on the study, which began in October 2022 and concluded in May 2023, encompassed months of deep analysis of housing data guided by the grounded experience of community stakeholders.
